Vision of Grace Transition Home is a program modeled after the Interfaith Hospitality Network for the Homeless. In a single family home we have assisted families one at a time in their transition from homelessness since 2008. 

Families in the Montgomery, AL community are provided with shelter and sanctuary for a period of 3 to 4 months at no cost with the exception of a nominal maintenance fee of $25 to $75 per month.  The organization's 2012 - 2013 vision is to expand our mission services and with your assistance we can accomplish this!

What We Do

Vision of Grace Transition Home is a charitable service organization that provides homeless families in the community of Montgomery, Alabama with no cost shelter in a three bedroom home. Families assisted by Vision of Grace Transition Home are identified by local Churches, Interfaith Networks, and other service agencies in the Montgomery area.

Family Promise of Montgomery, Inc. is an active partner and has worked with us since the opening in 2008 helping to identify families ready to transition to independence.  Our program allows families to save for their own home using the money they are exempt from paying during the 3 to 4 months while living in the completely furnished, Vision of Grace Transition Home.

Vision of Grace Transition Home is committed to assisting local families with repositioning themselves, and  to treating individuals with respect while demonstrating commitment to their success.
